Dr. Lee Picariello
Founder & CEO
Dr. Lee Picariello is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in sport performance.
​
A former All-American football player at Lehigh University, Dr. Picariello is an expert in developing attention and focus, reducing performance anxiety and treating the psychological hurdles of the injured athlete. He received his Master’s and Doctorate degrees from LaSalle University focusing his research on mindfulness applications on the athletic field. Dr. Picariello is proficient in biofeedback, a mind-body intervention to assist with peak performance.

Dr. Hunter Stevens
COO & Head of Mental Fitness
Dr. Hunter Stevens is a clinical psychologist with a specialization in sports performance.
A former Division 1 Volleyball player at George Mason University, former Olympic hopeful, and former professional volleyball player, Dr. Stevens is responsible for facilitating and co-leading the MAT team in identifying, understanding, and training the gap in human performance development. In addition to his undergraduate degree from GMU, Dr. Stevens holds a doctoral degree from the Institute of Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University and Master of Business Administration from Widener University’s School of Business.

Jacqueline McBratnie,

Managing Director,
Marketing & New Business Development
A founding team member, Jacqueline McBratnie serves as Director of Marketing and New Business Development for Mindful Athlete Training.
​
Prior to joining the team, Jacqueline spent over 20 years in Integrated Marketing and Sports Sponsorships for Proctor & Gamble, Kellogg's and the Campbell Soup Company. Across various roles, Jacqueline was responsible for managing and developing partnerships at the national level with the NFL, NASCAR, MLB, NBA, WNBA & MLS.
Jacqueline holds a Bachelors of Science degree & an MBA from the Academy of Food Marketing at St. Joseph’s University.
Devin DeTurk M.S.
Senior Mental Fitness Coach, Outreach Coordinator
Devin DeTurk is a Mental Fitness Coach for Mindful Athlete Training. A Division 1 runner at the University of Delaware, Devin now leads a variety of research and development efforts for MAT including coordinating with current interns and managing the MAT social media profiles.
Devin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, and a minor in Medical Diagnostics from the University of Delaware. Devin earned his Masters of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College and is now working towards his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Alyssa Martin
Mental Fitness Coach
Alyssa is a Certified Mental Fitness Coach and Ambassador at Mindful Athlete Training. Alyssa is in her second-year Master’s program at West Chester University, studying Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience and Psychology, with a minor in Biology, from Ursinus College, where she competed on the women’s basketball team.
She was also an assistant varsity coach for her alma mater, Gwynedd Mercy Academy High School’s girls’ basketball team for the 2023-24 season. She is excited to use her experience to help athletes build their confidence and perform to the best of their abilities.

Alexandra Wheatley M.Ed.
Mental Fitness Coach
Alex Wheatley is a Certified Mental Fitness Coach and Ambassador at Mindful Athlete Training. Alex earned her Master’s degree in Athletic Counseling from Springfield College. Her interest to pursue this field grew from her experiences as a former Division II swimmer at Bloomsburg University, although navigating shoulder injuries, she was able to achieved 7-PSAC Championships in individual and relay events.
Previously, Alex worked as a contracted Performance Expert and Master Resilience Trainer with the United States Army, where she taught mental performance and resilience skills to soldiers and DA civilians. With local ties bringing her back to the Philadelphia region, Alex now serves in her current role at Mindful Athlete Training.
Jessica Ferdinand
Mental Fitness Coach
Jessica Ferdinand is the utility player for Mindful Athlete Training. In her three years with MAT, Jessica has held roles including BioFeedback Tech to podcast co-producer. Jessica is now a Mental Strength Coach.

Jessica obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Temple University, and is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Psychology at Holy Family University. Jessica’s theoretical orientation is centered around Cognitive Behavior Therapy with a strong emphasis on Mindfulness. Upon finishing her Masters degree, Jessica intends to pursue a Ph.D., with a research focus on human performance.​
Rowan Mulholland
Mental Fitness Intern
Rowan recently started her internship at Mindful Athlete Training, to gain experience working with athletes in her pursuit of a career in sport and performance psychology. Rowan is a highly accomplished athlete. In high school, Rowan was a three-time conference champion with PHSSA PA All-State Catcher accolades her senior year.

Following two-years at Colgate University, Rowan is currently studying psychology and playing softball at University of Rochester. She is interested in having the ability to share her experiences and help guide other student-athletes toward a successful future.

Ryan Moretti
Research & Development, Sports Analytics
Ryan Moretti is a Research and Development Analyst for Mindful Athlete Training. Ryan's role includes researching statistics and biofeedback technology and building predictive sport analytic models to support Holistic Performance Theory.
​
In addition to his role at MAT, Ryan also serves as the Technology Assistant for the Toronto Blue Jays. Prior to joining MAT, Ryan worked for both the Detroit Tigers and Baltimore Orioles.

Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management from Springfield College.
