Dr. Lee Picariello
Founder & CEO
Dr. Lee Picariello is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in sport performance.

A former All-American football player at Lehigh University, Dr. Picariello is an expert in developing attention and focus, reducing performance anxiety and treating the psychological hurdles of the injured athlete. He received his Master’s and Doctorate degrees from LaSalle University focusing his research on mindfulness applications on the athletic field. Dr. Picariello is proficient in biofeedback, a mind-body intervention to assist with peak performance.

As the Founder of Mindful Athlete Training , Dr Lee has worked with clients ranging from high school to college, Olympic hopefuls, professional athletes and coaches. As an expert in mind-body efficiently, Dr. Lee has appeared on MLB TV, spoken a MLB's Winter Meetings, and lectured at __________. Lee also co-hosts the Head Game podcast.

He is currently in his 12th year of private practice following a decade long tenure with Moss Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa. working with brain injury and post-concussion syndrome.
Dr. Hunter Stevens
Director of Learning & Development
Head of Mental Skills
Dr. Hunter Stevens is a licensed clinical psychologist with a specialization in sports performance.
A former Division 1 Volleyball player at George Mason University, former Olympic hopeful, and former professional volleyball player, Dr. Stevens is responsible for facilitating and co-leading the MAT team in identifying, understanding, and training the gap in human performance development. In addition to his undergraduate degree from GMU, Dr. Stevens holds a doctoral degree from the Institute of Graduate Clinical Psychology at Widener University and Master of Business Administration from Widener University’s School of Business.
Hunter has been with MAT team for five years, in his time he has assisted the development of a proprietary holistic-performance metric, BioQ™. He has successfully facilitated in the development of the core philosophies and advanced theories for MAT. In addition, he has been the head of the performance training division in which he oversees the development of new training methodology. These methodologies include MAT certified coaching curriculum and proprietary training protocols. In addition to his leadership role Hunter also provides training and education on leveraging physiology to enhance cognitive endurance and achieve optimal performance. He has trained elite professional and collegiate athletes, as well as executive directors in the non-profits space toward a higher level of awareness and performance.

Jessica Ferdinand
Mental Strength Coach
Jessica Ferdinand has been an avid sports fan and mental health advocate within the sports arena for as long as she could remember. In her three years with Mindful Athlete Training, Jessica has become the utility player of the MAT team, covering roles Mental Strength Coach, to Biofeedback Tech, podcast Co-producer.
Jessica obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Temple University, and is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Psychology at Holy Family University. Upon finishing her Masters degree, Jessica intends to pursue a Ph.D., with a research focus on human performance.
Jessica’s theoretical orientation is centered around Cognitive Behavior Therapy with a strong emphasis on Mindfulness.
Jacqueline McBratnie
Managing Director,
Marketing & New Business Development
A founding team member, Jacqueline McBratnie serves as Director of Marketing and New Business Development for Mindful Athlete Training.

Prior to joining the team, Jacqueline spent over 20 years in Integrated Marketing and Sports Sponsorships for Proctor & Gamble, Kellogg's and the Campbell Soup Company. Across various roles, Jacqueline was responsible for managing and developing partnerships at the national level, with the NFL, NASCAR, MLB, NBA, WNBA & MLS.
Jacqueline holds a Bachelors of Science degree & an MBA from the Academy of Food Marketing at St. Joseph’s University.
Ryan Mink
Mental Strength Coach
Originally from Harleysville, PA, Ryan Mink obtained his Bachelor's of Science in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 2016 and his Master's of Science and Advanced Clinical Studies Degrees in clinical psychology from Chestnut Hill College in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
Primarily utilizing cognitive behavioral and acceptance and commitment interventions, Ryan works with clients (athletes and non-athletes) who primarily exhibit anxiety, depression, OCD, and life transition issues. Ryan ultimately wants to become a mental skills coach for an NBA franchise, noting his love for the game of basketball and social justice as his primary motivations for this chosen career path.
Michael DiMarco
Digital Content Producer
With interests in both sports and psychology, Michael DiMarco leads Mindful Athletes video, audio, and photo production team.

With experience in Atlanta and Philadelphia working for ESPN, HBO, and MTV, Michael has dedicated his career to creating memorable entertaining content that resonates with his consumer targets. At Mindful Athlete Training, Michael is tasked with taking scientific jargon and making undestandable to the rest of us.

Michael holds a BA in Communications from West Chester University and Masters in Fine Arts from Full Sail University.
